This Sunday, 30 April 2023, the fourth Sunday of Easter, is the 60th World Day of Prayer for Vocations. This year’s theme is: “Vocations: grace and mission.” We ask everyone to please join us in prayer for all those discerning a religious vocation, especially those who are considering joining us in the Order of Friars Minor Conventual.
We are blessed to have men in formation at this time, preparing for lives of service to God’s people. Recently, one reached a significant milestone on his Franciscan Journey.
Friar Angel Garcia was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, by the Most Reverend John Stowe OFM Conv., Bishop of the Diocese of Lexington, KY.
Please pray for Rev. Fr. Angel Garcia OFM Conv. as he begins his priestly ministry.
