The 2023 Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts at Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, is this weekend:
Saturday, 9/2: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday, 9/3: Mass at 9 a.m. followed by the Festival with Raffle winners announced at 4 p.m.
The event will feature 65+ artists and food vendors. There is also an enchilada dinner and paella dinner, with a beer and wine garden outside. A silent auction will be held in the center atrium, and there are two stages outside with live music.
In addition to traditional retreat offerings, Holy Cross Retreat Center provides Franciscan Hospitality to many people in need. This ministry was featured in America Magazine. The Holy Cross Laudato Si’ Committee promotes education, ecological conversion, and action on the goals of the encyclical. (Learn more about the work of this committee)
