The Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, has a special celebration planned for Earth Day. On Friday, April 22, at 6:30pm an interfaith prayer service will be held in the Chapel as we pray for our Mother Earth and for peace in the world, especially Ukraine.
On Saturday, April 23, from 10am until 3pm, a series of presentations on creation will be made with a special focus on the desert. Attendees will get practical information on how to be better stewards of the environment as well as opportunity to share in creating an outdoor wall mural, planting a tree, and seeing a popular electric car up close. Our world depends on our sense of ecology and care for all, including humanity.
