After various presentations on April 22nd, we planted 20 bushes and trees around our second hermitage. Jeff Anderson, the local County Extension agent, gave us very clear instructions on how to plant and care for them.
On Sunday, the 23rd we had an ecumenical prayer service for Earth Day, organized by Henry Atkins, our eco-theologian in residence. It included descriptions of three churches and organizations in their response to Caring for the Earth.
