The Conventual Franciscans hosted a ‘Come and See’ weekend from November 9 to 10 at Saint Bonaventure Friary in Chicago. This was an opportunity for young men interested in discerning a religious vocation to see the daily life of the Conventual Franciscan friars.
The community gathered for Mass and prayers throughout the weekend. The postulants shared their vocation stories and everyone enjoyed plenty of fraternal time, including a visit to Navy Pier.
Another ‘Come and See’ weekend is scheduled for December 6 to 8. This weekend will be held at Marytown in Libertyville, Illinois.
