Wine at the Shrine is on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 1pm to 6pm. The event benefits Little Portion Farm and the Franciscan Center of Baltimore.
Little Portion Farm is a 3-acre ‘agro-ecosystem’ focused on providing fresh food to those in need while using sustainable farming methods to restore the health of the land.
The Franciscan Center of Baltimore provides nutrition, connection, and education to help those in need as they make their way to self-sufficiency.
Both ministries work together under the umbrella of the Conventual Franciscan Province of Our Lady of Angels. The Farm provides fresh and healthy produce to the Center which then prepares high-quality, made-from-scratch meals to feed hundreds of those facing food insecurity in the Baltimore area.
On a typical day 400 to 600 people visit the Center to enjoy a healthy prepared meal created from farm fresh ingredients.
Weekend Festival
Wine at the Shrine (Saturday 1 – 6 p.m.), features local beer and wine sampling, a craft vendor village, hayrides, cooking demos, pumpkin picking, and tours of Little Portion Farm. This family-friendly event is a great way to spend a fall afternoon on the beautiful grounds of the Shrine of St. Anthony.
There’s also Sunset at the Shrine, hosted at Carrollton Hall, an historic house on the grounds of the Shrine. This event features live music, wine bar, and charcuterie menu created by the culinary team at Dignity Plates Catering. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in wine tastings led by a local sommelier.
These are ticketed events – visit wineattheshrine.org for more information and to purchase your tickets.
