Wine at the Shrine is a family friendly event that benefits the Franciscan Center of Baltimore and Little Portion Farm.
Little Portion Farm, a ministry of the Franciscan Friars Conventual, is focused on using sustainable farming methods to restore the health of the land while providing fresh food to those in need. The Franciscan Center of Baltimore provides services such as counseling, eviction prevention, clothing donations, and more. At the core is their soup kitchen which feeds hundreds of people every day.
The event begins at 1:00 pm. This is when the food trucks, the beer & wine tent, Crafters Village, and the kids zone open. Look for signs and listen to announcements to catch some of the special happenings such as live music, cooking demonstrations, wine workshops, hay rides, and more.
