Jubilee of Hope

Jubilee of Hope

In May of 2024, +Pope Francis announced a Jubilee or Holy Year in 2025 for Pilgrims of Hope. The Opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on December 24, 2025, marked the beginning of the Jubilee, which continues until January 6, 2026.

During 2025, Jubilee Indulgences may be granted if pilgrims undertake a pious visit to sacred places. These include places designated by diocesan bishops.
