Congratulations to Friars Franck-Lino Sokpolie and Pedro Lopez who received their M.Div. degrees on May 16th from the Oblate School of Theology. Friar Franck-Lino will be ordained to the priesthood in mid-July and Friar Pedro’s presbyteral ordination is in early August.
In May, the all-formation gathering at Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, (mentioned in yesterday’s post) included our postulants, novices, student friars, and formation directors. Conventual Franciscan Bishop of Lexington John Stowe joined the group and led a discussion about Synodality. The gathering provided time for prayer, reflection, and fraternity.
