The Mount Saint Francis Retreat Center is celebrating Earth Day 2022 on Saturday, April 23rd from 10am to 2pm! There will be exhibits on solar energy, gardening, composting, beekeeping, and more. And, free trees will be available to take home and plant. The tree seedlings, all native species, are supplied by the DNR and are usually already 2 to 3 feet tall.
Last year, more than 420 trees were given away. These native species trees can help clean our air, cool our homes and yards, beautify the environment, and provide shelter for birds and other animals.
