In mid-July, a conference celebrating the early Rule of 1221 was held at St. Bonaventure University. The event was originally planned for the summer of 2021, which was the 800th anniversary of the Chapter approval of this first Rule. The conference brought together friars from the three families of the First Order of Saint Francis: Conventuals (our Order); OFMs; and Capuchins.
