On November 29, 1223, Pope Honorius III confirmed the Rule presented to him by St. Francis. In 2023, 800 years later, we celebrate this confirmation of the Later Rule. Members from all branches of our Franciscan family gathered at the Basilica of St. John in Lateran to join in prayer and fraternity.
