Conventuals preach a message of the peace that comes from solidarity, which is itself
grounded in a fundamental reality of human existence: we come into the world with nothing of
our own and depart in the same way. The truth that everything we have is ultimately received
as gift has profound implications as we endeavor to accomplish the good work of building the
peace that flows from justice.
